Join us in supporting First-time Marathon Runners and Members of L'Arche Inverness Community, Holly Hiles; David Holdsworth; Peter Drozd and Thomas Lacroix, every step of the way as they run, perhaps, the most scenic marathon route in the British Isles.
The team will run the Loch Ness Marathon on October 7th to support the community's New Workshop Resource Centre Appeal - helping us to raise a further £222,976 towards Working Together ~ Transforming Lives.
Holly, David, Peter and Thomas are donning their running shoes to help fund the cost of building our this exciting and innovative resource, which houses 4 new workshop spaces, where 25 adults with learning disabilities, from throughout the Highlands, are being welcomed into meaningful work, training and support - regardless of age or ability. Each person welcomed is offered access to lifelong learning; the wider employment opportunities available in Inverness and the dignity of doing a good day's work - at every stage in their lives.
